WHO WE WORK WITH

Contractor-Grade Electrical Work For South Florida Homes

South Florida homes deal with challenges most contractors ignore. Between high humidity, salt-air corrosion, and the massive electrical demand of hurricane season, your system works harder here than almost anywhere else.

We handle residential projects with the same rigor we apply to commercial build-outs: organized, planned, and built to code.

A good fit if you are:

  • A homeowner planning a panel upgrade, remodel, or service change
  • A residential investor managing properties that need organized electrical work
  • Dealing with an older home with panel problems or safety concerns
  • Installing an EV charger and need a proper load review first
  • Coordinating electrical with a General Contractor on a remodel
  • Required to have permit-ready work with city inspection sign-off

Permit-Ready Work

Why Permits Matter For South Florida Homeowners

Unpermitted electrical work carries real risk.

It can affect your insurance claim after a fire, delay a home sale when an inspector finds it, and create liability that stays with the property.

When your scope requires a permit, we pull it and coordinate city inspection sign-off because that is how licensed electrical contractor work is supposed to be done.

Work That Has Earned Repeat Clients And Trusted Referrals

Our commercial and residential work has supported properties and organizations across South Florida. We carry those same standards into every home we work in.

Common Questions

Residential Electrical FAQ

  • Do I need a permit for home electrical work in South Florida?

Yes. In Florida, any work involving a panel upgrade or new circuits requires a permit. Unpermitted work is a major liability during home sales and can actually void your insurance claim if an electrical fire occurs. We pull the permit and handle the city inspector so your documentation is 100% solid

  • Can you replace a Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel flagged by my insurer?

Yes. These panels are commonly flagged in South Florida during insurance inspections. We replace them, upgrade the service where needed, pull the permit, and coordinate city inspection so you have proper documentation for your insurer.

  • My home has 100-amp service. Can I still get a Level 2 EV charger?

Possibly, but it depends on your existing load. Many homes will need a service upgrade to 200 amps before a Level 2 charger can be safely supported. We evaluate your panel first and tell you exactly what is needed before any work is quoted.

  • What causes flickering lights or partial power loss in a house?

In South Florida, flickering is often caused by salt-air corrosion on your main lugs or a failing T-tab breaker in an older panel. Because these are leading indicators of a fire risk, it needs a professional diagnosis, not just a breaker reset.

  • Do you coordinate the city inspection after the work is finished?

Yes. When a permit is required, we schedule and coordinate the city inspection after the work is complete. You do not have to manage that process yourself. We follow through until sign-off is done.

  • What counts as a residential electrical emergency?

A burning smell, visible sparks, partial power loss with no clear cause, or breakers that trip and will not reset. If any of these are happening, call us now. We offer 24/7 emergency service. Emergency pricing applies after 4:30 pm on weekdays and on weekends. Not sure? Message us first and we will guide you.

  • Can I send photos instead of scheduling a call?

Yes! For most non-urgent jobs it is the fastest way to start. Send the address, a few photos of the panel or problem area, and a short description over WhatsApp or through the quote form. We will review and respond with a clear next step.
